Minnesota Timberwolves: Anthony Edwards Vocal on Flexing All Over Denver Nuggets in Staggering Game 2 Blowout
Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the basketball world on Monday night. This is after they annihilated the Denver Nuggets on their own home floor to take a staggering 2-0 lead in their second-round series. The defending champs have found themselves in a deep, deep hole now that this series heads back to Minnesota with the Wolves holding a massive advantage.

This has been thanks in large part to Anthony Edwards’ majestic play.

Minnesota Timberwolves News: Anthony Edwards Speaks Out on Savage Antics

Edwards had another big outing on Tuesday as he led Minnesota to a jaw-dropping 106-80 blowout win over the Nuggets. The 22-year-old dropped 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting, to go along with two rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 37 minutes of action.

Throughout the game, Edwards was flexing all over and pointing his finger at the Nuggets. The two-time All-Star has never been shy about making a meal out of his awe-inspiring moments on the floor, and it is clear that he has no intention of taking away this savagery anytime soon:

“If I do something nice, I got to let it be known,” Edwards said with a smile, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “Whether I get an and-1, I got to flex. Make somebody fall, I’m going to point at them. And it brings excitement to the game.”

The Nuggets definitely know that Edwards has been killing them on the court. So do their fans.

Unfortunately, nobody can do anything about it as the Timberwolves star has had his way in the first two games of this series. If he keeps this up, it would not be a complete shock if the Nuggets no longer get the opportunity to play in Denver again this season.
