Titans sign a familiar face to add depth at a position of need

The Tennessee Titans have added depth along its defensive line by re-signing defensive lineman Marlon Davidson, according to Jim Wyatt.

Davidson came on strong with the Titans late in 2023 recording 10 total tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack starting in three of his five games with the team.

Davidson, who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was signed to the Titans practice squad in October of last year. He was released by Atlanta after missing the entire 2022 season with a knee injury.

In a small sample size last season Davidson exhibited a high motor on a defensive line, which was depleted by injuries at the time of his arrival. At 6-foot-3 and a touch over 300 pounds, Davidson is a welcomed addition to bolster the depth within Tennessee's interior defensive line.

In three seasons in the NFL Davidson has compiled 39 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and one interception returned for a touchdown.
