Chelsea’s owners reportedly feel like they are about to sign a generational talent and a potential prodigy as they look to get the next transfer deal sealed up.

The latest bit of Chelsea news has been heavily reported on in recent weeks, and it looks like the club are finally about to pull off the deal to get it done.

According to The Evening Standard, Chelsea will sign Brazil teenager Estevao Willian after agreeing an initial £29.5million deal for the Palmeiras sensation.

A lot has been said about this player recently, and there is a lot of hype growing around his potential already, with the feeling being that Chelsea have landed a future world class star in the making.

The Standard’s report goes on to say that Chelsea’s owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are understood to consider Estêvão Willian as a potential prodigy, who could turn into a generational talent.

The words ‘generational talent’ are words that often seem to be thrown around far too easily in this game, but Willian certainly does look like he is a risk worth taking.

Did Pochettino even scout Willian himself?

Probably not. But there was some reports going around that Pochettino has recently been watching a lot of South American football after continuous links to players in that continent.

Chelsea obviously recently signed Kendry Paez from that region as well, and he looks like another young prodigy.

But I highly doubt that Pochettino has time to start scouting and recommending young talents from around the world, and Chelsea will have a scouting team based in certain parts of the world including South America, whom of which would have scouted and found top players like Willian.

I am sure we will soon be hearing of more names of top young players from South America linked with Chelsea!
